Patent Analysis Ltd was formed in 2005 to be a one-stop site for international and New Zealand patent searching.

The base search and indexing technology was used in a sophisticated chemical searching company called SureChem Inc. SureChem was sold in late 2009. 

The www.patentanalysis.com search portal has now closed and the company is providing XML data only.
